General Meeting

On the second Thursday of each month, PT SLUG holds its general meeting. Each meeting features a guest speaker, who offers interesting information on Macintosh or related topics. Mac Programs SIGMac Programs SIG

Our Mac Programs SIG (special interest group) which meets on the third Friday at the WSU computer lab, covers programs that come free with the Mac, such as Address Book, Preview, iCal, iPhoto, iTunes, Stickies, TextEdit, Widgets, and many more. Photoshop SIGDigital Media SIG

Our Digital Media SIG is focused on mainly on photography related programs. In this SIG we cover photo enhancement and effects with a number of programs including iPhoto and Photoshop Elements along with elements of digital photography. Other media editing programs like iMovie will get coverage, too. The SIG meets monthly on the fourth Friday at the WSU computer lab. Getting Help for Your Mac

be happy with your MacOne of the advantages of belonging to a computer user group is the help members provide to one another. These days it is often time consuming and costly to get technical help from software and hardware vendors. Assuming, of course, that you can even get through to them on the telephone. Many of our members are extremely knowledgeable of Mac hardware and software issues. Several are available to help other members with their computer problems. However, please keep you questions brief and limit your time on the phone. When you contact them let them know your are a current PTSLUG member. If you are not sure you are a current member contact the PTLSUG treasurer. Here are some of those who have offered to help:
